About Vena Excell
Pretty Vee, born Vena Excell on October 13, 1991 in Miami, Florida, is a Jamaican-American comedian, actress, radio host and internet personality. Active in entertainment since 2015, she rose through Instagram with sketches featuring her signature pink robe and a roster of larger-than-life characters before joining the cast of MTV's Wild 'N Out, where she became a fan favorite from Season 11 onward.
Pretty Vee graduated from Saint Augustine's University in 2015 with a degree in mass communications and launched the WAUG-network radio show Lounge 22 while still a student. She has acted in HBO Max's Rap Sh!t, produced by Issa Rae, playing the character Deja, and in 2025 launched the live theatre show Pretty Vee Presents: Sharoonnn Said It!, which sold out Atlanta's Center Stage and introduced wider audiences to her viral Jamaican-auntie character Sharoonnn. She runs the cosmetics brand Pretty Vee Beauty and the luxury robe line VXL Collection, and has released music with Pardi and Polo G. Her comedy style fuses improv, exaggerated character work and Caribbean-American family humor.
Pretty Vee tours theaters and comedy venues with her Sharoonnn Said It! live show and Why Am I Like This? Tour through 2025 and 2026. She also continues to appear on MTV and VH1 with Wild 'N Out Live and on BET specials such as BET Year in Black 2024.
