Tim Dillon

Tim J. Dillon (born January 22, 1985) is an American stand-up comedian and podcaster. He is the host of The Tim Dillon Show, a comedy podcast in which he discusses news, politics, and popular culture. Dillon began performing stand-up in New York City and has since gained attention for his satirical style and commentary on contemporary issues.

Dillon was born and raised in Island Park, New York, and is of Irish descent. As a child in 1994, he landed a small role on the PBS children's show Sesame Street. He attended Nassau Community College and won a Bronze Award in Impromptu Speaking in 2005. Before becoming a professional comedian he worked as a New York City tour guide, entering the stand-up scene around 2010. After a 2016 appearance at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, Rolling Stone named him one of the "10 Comedians You Need to Know" in 2017, describing him as "capable of formulating an articulate (and often contrarian) opinion about anything at a moment's notice."

The Tim Dillon Show was originally named Tim Dillon Is Going to Hell when it launched on the GaS Digital Network with co-host Ray Kump. In August 2022, Dillon released his first stand-up special, Tim Dillon: A Real Hero. In late August 2025, he defended appearing at the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia, saying the Saudis were paying him US$375,000 to "look the other way," and in September 2025 he announced he had been fired from the festival for making jokes about forced labor. As of March 2021 he resides in Los Angeles, and he came out as gay at age 25.
