Comedians born in Cluj-Napoca

Cluj-Napoca is the largest city in Transylvania and a major university centre, standing among Romania's leading hubs for education, technology and culture. Its large student population, historic squares and packed festival calendar give the city a youthful, cosmopolitan feel, and it is widely regarded as the region's unofficial capital. Cluj has also become a key stop on Romania's expanding stand-up comedy circuit, with a lively scene of live shows and touring acts.

Cluj-Napoca is the birthplace of comedian Nelu Cortea.
