Brian Mørk

Brian Mørk (born 11 December 1973 as Brian Mørk Hansen) is a Danish stand-up comedian, actor and scriptwriter, best known for his talk show Brian Mørk Show, and most recently known for the program Mørk og Jul from 2009 on TV 2. He debuted as a stand-up comedian in 2002. Brian Mørk has appeared in many different TV programs on both Danmarks Radio and TV 2, as well as many other Danish TV channels. Among the programs he has taken part in are Talegaver til Børn 2003-2008 and the subsequent Comedy Aid from 2009-2019. He has also written for a number of comedy programs, including Gintbergs Store Aften. Together with the comedian Lasse Rimmer he established the podcast platform Lytbar.

In 2007 Mørk was the host of the talk show Brian Mørk Show on TV 2 Zulu. In each program Mørk had two different actors or comedians as guests, who were interviewed with false and often spontaneous questions that Mørk asked them. During the conversations they had to improvise and play along without protest, while trying to make their answers funny. The program was later sold through the TV 2 company TV 2 World under the title Liar Liar. Mørk has since made Brian Mørk Show as a podcast, released with well over 100 episodes.

In July 2021 he was subjected to a shitstorm after writing a tweet in connection with Naser Khader being accused of sexual offences. Mørk got his driving licence at the age of 34. He was married for several years to Signe Duus Weber, and together they have two children. They lived together in a house in Kalundborg, which turned out to be contaminated with chlorine. In autumn 2010 she left Mørk, after which he lost 18 kg in two months because he had become depressed. In autumn 2019 his house in Kalundborg went to forced auction.
