Daniel 'Jyden' Hoff
About Daniel 'Jyden' Hoff
Daniel Hoff performs under the name of his best-known character, Jyden, and Kaptajn Colat is the second figure he keeps coming back to. The way in was a talent contest: in 2012 he reached the final of Danmarks næstsjoveste menneske, the competition set up by Casper Christensen, and he went on to work for Christensen's company Douglas Entertainment.
Television followed in several shapes. He appeared on TV2 in Følg mig, created the DR3 programme Menneskeforsøg together with Petra Nagel and Jasper Ritz, and made short comic clips with Nikita Klæstrup for the first season of Ex on the Beach. He also went on tour with Gulddreng and has been the compère at L.O.C. concerts and at Give Open Air, the festival in his home town.
Talk is the other outlet: he hosts the podcast Jeg er lige død for Euroman. The DJ bookings run alongside the comedy rather than instead of it.
