About Sapan Verma
Sapan Verma (born May 8, 1989, in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh) is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer, and key figure in the Indian comedy industry. He is best known as a co-founder of East India Comedy (EIC), one of India's most influential comedy collectives, alongside Sorabh Pant and Angad Singh Ranyal. Performing in English and Hinglish, Verma started his comedy career in 2010 and has since completed over 2,000 live shows across India and internationally, spanning cities in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, and beyond.

A notable milestone in Verma's career came in 2015 when he was one of the opening acts for Coldplay and Jay-Z at the Global Citizen Festival India, performing before an audience of 80,000. He also worked as a freelance humour writer with columns in Maxim and Grazia before turning fully to comedy.
Sapan Verma continues to tour actively across India and internationally. His special Obsessive Comedic Disorder is on Amazon Prime Video. One Mic Stand (both seasons) is also on Amazon Prime.
