Eli Galperin

Eli Galperin came to comedy from the actor's side. After graduating from the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio he worked across theatre, children's television and satire, and on stage he has played with the Cameri and Habima as well as at the Tzavta Theatre and the Tmuna Theatre, where he was in a production of The Inspector General.

Satire in short, regular doses is what made him familiar to viewers. From 2013 he wrote and performed a daily humour and satire corner in the morning programme on Channel 10, and he was a regular voice of a satirical show carried by Galei Tzahal and Educational Television, for which he also wrote. Young audiences know him from the Orna Porat Theatre for Children and Youth, where he took on a long-running role from 2009, and from children's series in which he played characters ranging from a news narrator to a gardener. He also co-wrote and directed a play for children.
