Ido Katzir

Ido Katzir found his audience online before he had a stage act. During and after his army service he uploaded comic videos that picked up speed and went viral, and alongside his early writing he worked in advertising as a copywriter.

Much of his comedy reaches viewers through other performers. Between 2015 and 2019 he wrote characters and sketches for a string of comedy series built around another comedian, and between 2019 and 2021 he supplied stand-up material for a show by Assi Cohen. He also wrote for the satirical sketch series The Jews Are Coming, work that won him an Israeli television academy award for screenplay.

His own stand-up grew step by step, from a stand-up show in 2018 to a full-length original show that opened in 2022. In front of the camera he acted in the series Berlin Blues, broadcast on Yes.
