About Mohamed Nama
Mohamed Nama (also transliterated Mohammed Namaa) is an Arab Israeli stand-up comedian who has performed in both Arabic and Hebrew since 2008. According to his official biography, he overcame a difficult childhood marked by a congenital heart condition, undergoing 17 cardiac catheterizations and 5 open-heart surgeries, before turning his personal experience into comedy. He is known for the show "Mohammed Speaks Hebrew," described as the first stand-up comedy performed in Hebrew, Arabic and English together, in which he uses humor to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to build connections of laughter between Arab and Jewish Israeli audiences.
