About Ori Hizkiah
Hizkiah grew up in Jerusalem and then in Tel Aviv, and started on the stages of the city's comedy clubs, the Camel Comedy Club among them, before television picked him up. Early work put him in front of the camera on children's and entertainment programmes and behind it as a writer, including on Erev Adir, and he co-hosted the satirical show Makat Medina with Avi Nussbaum.
The wide audience came from Tzhok MeAvoda, the Reshet entertainment show he was part of for several seasons from 2008. He presented the special Kablu Otam with Roy Levy when Hot Comedy Central launched, and joined the fifth season of Moadon Layla, staying with the programme into later seasons. Music runs alongside the comedy: he has released Sivuv Kayitz, Mezayef BaPizmon and Shlala with the singer Amit Farkash. He took his first film role in Avi Nesher's comedy thriller Plaot alongside Adir Miller, and makes the podcast series HaMartef Shel Ori.
