About Revital Vitelzon Jacobs
Revital Vitelzon Jacobs came to comedy from the book trade. Born in Tel Aviv in 1979, she studied psychology and literature and spent years as a manager and owner within the Steimatzky bookstore chain before she moved to the stage. In 2015 she launched Stand-up for Tired Parents, an evening in Hebrew that turns parenting, couples and family routine into material for audiences who live that routine themselves.
Much of her following came through her online videos. Since 2018 she has published clips recorded in her car, talking about a range of subjects from behind the wheel. Her on-screen character was also parodied on the satirical television show Eretz Nehederet.
Writing runs alongside the stand-up: she has published three books, the first in 2018 and the third in 2022.
