Rudi Saada

Rudi Saada was doing stand-up before he trained as an actor. He started performing comedy sets on the stage of the Camel Comedy Club in 1998, went on to study acting, and has kept both crafts going side by side. The newspaper Maariv named him among the funniest people in Israel, and in 2019 he released a stand-up special called Completely True on YouTube.

His acting work runs through Israel's established stages. At the Haifa Theatre he played the lead in The Graduate and the part of Gidi in Games in the Backyard, and at Habima he appeared in The State Comptroller and Romantika. On television he is Nathan Franko, a cunning but very sociable customer, in the mockumentary sitcom Checkout, known in Hebrew as Kupa Rashit.
