About Sagit Sol
Sagit Sol, from Rishon LeZion, got her start in television sketch comedy. At the turn of the millennium she was part of the ensemble of Domino on Channel 2, working with Roi Bar-Natan and Tali Oren, and the programme took a Golden Screen award in the children's category in 2001. She also turned up in sketches on Eli Yatzpan's show, Yatzpan.
Writing then took over a larger share of her work. She studied screenwriting at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School and went on to write plays; Adir Miller is among her creative partners. From 2006 to 2018 she ran her own theatre company, Sagit Sol Productions, which staged Hebrew versions of classics such as Puss in Boots, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland for young audiences.
