Shlomi Koriat

Shlomi Koriat had formal stage training long before comedy paid off for him. He specialised in theatre at Thelma Yellin in Givatayim and, after his military service, studied acting at Beit Zvi. His name in comedy is tied to the Prozac Trio, which he formed with Yuval Semo and Ofir Lobel and which won the three of them a local television show.

Screen roles have run in parallel with the stand-up. After the crime drama The Arbitrator he appeared in the series Dolls, joined the satirical programme Week-end for its third season, and co-presented the morning show Summer with Orna Datz. There were guest parts in HaPijamot and Naor's Friends and a role in the comedy series Most Beautiful Years. In cinema he acted in the comedy Little Simico's Big Fantasy and played Nissim in The World Is Funny. Many in Israel count him among the country's leading stand-up comedians.
