Piet van Eeghen

Piet van Eeghen is a Dutch cabaret performer and musician from Amsterdam who works part-time as a mathematics teacher. A self-taught performer, he combines absurdist songs with comedic spoken monologues and took a stand-up comedy course to weave humorous anecdotes into his music. He won the audience prize at the Leids Cabaret Festival in 2022 and made his full-length theatre debut with the show De Verlichting Nabij, followed by his second programme De Lieve Vrede in 2026.
