About Roel Bloemen
Roel Bloemen is a Dutch cabaret artist and actor. He graduated from the Koningstheateracademie in 's-Hertogenbosch in 2002, where he met Leo Alkemade, with whom he formed the cabaret duo Alkemade and Bloemen. In 2000, the duo won both the jury prize and the audience prize at the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival.
Together they created six theater programs: 'k Stoppermee, Sudomotorisch, HybrisHydrolisch, 13-0-ZEVEN, Wij willen ook naar huis, and Je moet niet alles geloven wat Gemma zegt. Both Bloemen and Alkemade write for the radio program Spijkers met koppen.
