Felipe Mateos

Felipe Mateos, full name Felipe Mateos Moreno, is a Spanish stand-up comedian, screenwriter and writer born in Madrid on 11 May 1996. He holds a double degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a master's degree in radio from Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. He was diagnosed with osteogénesis imperfecta, known as brittle bone disease, two months after birth, has suffered around fifty fractures over his life, and lost his left eye following a blow at eighteen. He has performed stand-up for more than a decade, developing an acid, direct and provocative style built heavily on crowd work that engages audiences without shying away from his disability, which he has turned into central material. He tours a one hour solo show, El Odio Viene en Frascos Pequeños, and has appeared on television including Got Talent España, Locomundo on Movistar Plus and El Hormiguero, as well as presenting the online late show Cojo-nudo for VLP Sports. In 2023 he published the book Ser Distinto No Es Tan Raro, recounting his life with osteogénesis imperfecta, and he is a regular at Madrid's El Golfo Comedy Club.
