Comedians born in Amethi

Amethi is a town and district in Uttar Pradesh, best known across India as a parliamentary constituency long associated with prominent national political families. Set amid the agricultural plains of the Awadh region, it is a modest place whose name carries outsized political weight. Everyday life revolves around farming and small-town trade. As India's stand-up comedy wave spreads outward from the major metros, live entertainment and touring acts increasingly find their way to smaller centres such as this.
