About Paulus Bohl
Paulus Bohl started out online. With his brother Benjamin Bohl he set up the duo Dr. Bohl during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the humorous clips the pair posted on Instagram and TikTok are what first made them known. The move to the stage came soon after: the first Dr. Bohl cabaret programme had its premiere in the basement of the school the brothers had attended, and Anabohlika, a satirical show in which both of them perform, followed later.
The duo also runs the podcast Bohlmobil, where each episode takes them to a different corner of Vienna, from well known sights to places few visitors see. In 2024 Paulus released a pilot episode of the sitcom Tiafe Typen, which was not continued beyond it. His first programme on his own, titled Solo, opened at the Stadtsaal in Vienna in 2025.
Outside cabaret he took part in the ORF dance show Dancing Stars and reached second place with the professional dancer Catharina Malek. He also voiced two iguanas in the German-language version of the Disney film Zoomania 2.
