Moritz Neumeier
About Moritz Neumeier
Moritz Neumeier is a German stand-up comedian born on January 27, 1988, in Preetz, Schleswig-Holstein. He grew up with seven siblings and started performing on poetry slam stages in 2008 before becoming one of Germany's most prominent stand-up comics. Based in Hamburg, he is known for politically charged, darkly humorous material that frequently tests the limits of acceptable satire - and does so with deliberate intent.
Neumeier began his public career in 2008 as a slam poet, co-founding the duo 'Team und Struppi' with Jasper Diedrichsen in 2009. That duo won the German-language Poetry Slam Championships in 2010. His first solo stand-up program 'Kein scheiss Regenbogen' premiered in 2012. He has since produced multiple full-length programs, with his ninth program 'Was soll passieren?' touring extensively in 2025. His 2026 program 'Einer von den Guten?' takes on questions of privilege, resistance, and integrity. Neumeier's comedy style is cynical and sarcastic with a sharp political edge, frequently pushing into territory that other comedians avoid. He co-hosts the weekly satirical podcast 'Talk ohne Gast' with Till Reiners on Radio Fritz (rbb) since 2017, with over 316 episodes produced. He is a regular television guest on Die Carolin Kebekus Show, Die Anstalt, extra 3, and heute-show. He also moderates 'falsch, aber lustig' on YouTube via the Fritz Comedy Kollektiv channel since 2023.
Moritz Neumeier is actively touring Germany and Austria with his programs 'Was soll passieren?' and 'Einer von den Guten?' through 2026. He performs regularly at mid-size venues across the country. His YouTube content and television contributions are available on the Fritz Comedy Kollektiv channel and ARD Mediathek. The weekly 'Talk ohne Gast' podcast with Till Reiners is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
