Filip Dikmen
Stand-up comedian from Sweden 🇸🇪
About Filip Dikmen
Dikmen started making sketches on Instagram while he was studying law in Gothenburg, playing the prejudices Swedes hold about immigrants back at them. Two characters kept returning, Chantelle and Suleyman, and the account grew fast enough that he auditioned for Idol in character as Suleyman and sang to the judges in the role.
The move from phone screen to broadcasting followed. He won the Arets Instagram prize at the Guldtuben awards in 2018, and the same year got his own SVT series, Suleyman soker svar, which sent the character out to ask people questions rather than deliver punchlines. He has hosted the food programme Mataam, taken second place in Let's Dance on TV4, and appeared in IFS, invandrare for svenskar, Komiker utan granser and Forradarna.
