About Thomas Järvheden
Thomas Järvheden has toured as a stand-up since 1998, and the music is part of the same act: his comedy concerts put songs and routines on one bill. Recognition came early. The Svenska standupgalan named him best male comedian of 2004, and in 2009 Comedy Fight Club crowned him Sweden's funniest stand-up.
Seriöst roligt in 2008 was shown on Kanal 5 and released on DVD, Vuxenkruxet followed in 2014, and both later reached Netflix; between them came Från Big bang till Happy ending and Världens roligaste mellansnack. Bra Mkt Sämre! arrived in 2018, followed by Förfest med Järvheden and the touring format Sveriges roligaste konsert.
The albums run from 10 låtar in 2006 through Sommarplågor & annat and Så ni kommer ihåg mig när jag är död to Rövåret 2020, and some songs come out under the alias Kärvheten. Television gave him hosting work on Bobster, Stå upp, Grillad and Äntligen fredag. Musical theatre cast him as Mr. Warbucks in Annie and in productions of Glada Änkan and We Will Rock You, and for Swedish audiences he voiced Junior in Storkarna and Terry Perry in Monsters University.
