Comedians born in Blackwater
Queensland, Australia ๐ฆ๐บ
Blackwater sits in the Bowen Basin of central Queensland, ringed by the open cut mines that earned it the name coal capital of the region. Coal loaded here is shipped to customers around the world, and the working week in town follows the mining shifts.
Sport and community life fill the rest of it. Comedian Josh Thomas was born in Blackwater.
