Comedians born in Queensland

Queensland is Australia's north eastern state, running from the Gold Coast and the state capital Brisbane up to the Great Barrier Reef and inland to the outback. Nicknamed the Sunshine State, it covers an enormous area of beaches, rainforest and cattle country.

Its cities and coastal resorts carry a steady live entertainment calendar, comedy festivals and touring stand-up included. Comedian Damien Power was born in Queensland.
