Comedians born in Birkesdorf

Birkesdorf is a district of Dueren, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia between Cologne and Aachen in the valley of the Rur river. Once a village in its own right with a paper and textile heritage, it is now part of the wider Dueren urban area. Small districts like this seldom stage their own comedy, but the surrounding region's cultural venues, and Germany's expanding stand-up and Kabarett scenes, bring touring acts within reach.
