Comedians born in Bonn

Bonn sits on the Rhine in the south of North Rhine-Westphalia and served as the capital of West Germany from 1949 until reunification, remaining today a seat of government ministries and United Nations agencies. It is celebrated as the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, marked by museums and a major annual music festival.

A green and international city, Bonn supports a rich cultural life where German Kabarett and a growing stand-up scene find their audiences, including performers such as Christine Prayon and Markus Maria Profitlich.
