Comedians born in Tembisa

Tembisa is a large township in Gauteng, part of the Ekurhuleni metropolitan area northeast of Johannesburg and close to Kempton Park. Established in the 1950s, it is one of the most populous townships in the country, a densely settled and energetic community. Like South Africa's townships generally, it has a rich street culture and lies within reach of a national comedy scene that has produced world-famous stand-ups.
