Comedians born in Herkenbosch

Herkenbosch is a village in the southern Dutch province of Limburg, part of the municipality of Roerdalen, close to the city of Roermond and the German border. It borders the wooded De Meinweg National Park, which gives it a green, quiet setting.

As a small community it looks to nearby towns for bigger events, though Limburg's strong cabaret and stand-up tradition still brings live comedy within easy reach. Herkenbosch is the hometown of comedian Joost Spijkers.
