Comedians born in Hoorn

Hoorn is a historic harbour town on the Markermeer in North Holland, a wealthy port during the Dutch Golden Age and once a seat of the Dutch East India Company. A local navigator named Cape Horn, at the southern tip of South America, after the town, and its well-preserved old centre still draws visitors.

In keeping with the Dutch love of cabaret and stand-up, Hoorn's theatres and venues host touring comic performers, and the town is the hometown of comedian Bob Koomen.
