This Willemstad, not to be confused with the Caribbean capital of the same name, is a small fortified town in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant, set where the waters of the Hollands Diep meet the land. Its star-shaped ramparts, harbour, and historic centre make it a popular stop for boaters and day-trippers. Compact, it relies on nearby towns for larger events, including the touring comedy that increasingly reaches the Dutch regions.
