Comedians born in Mottingham

Mottingham is a quiet residential district in south-east London, spread across the boroughs of Greenwich, Bromley and Lewisham. Once part of Kent, it kept a village feel well into the twentieth century before suburban housing filled the area, and it works today as a commuter neighbourhood with few large landmarks.

Comedian Rob Beckett was born here. As in the rest of suburban London, residents are only a short journey from the capital's comedy clubs.
