Comedians born in Pannal

Pannal is a village in North Yorkshire, in northern England, lying just south of the spa town of Harrogate. Rolling countryside surrounds it and a historic parish church stands at its heart, but it is a small, largely residential community rather than a town.

Villages this size seldom stage comedy nights of their own. Harrogate and the wider Yorkshire circuit are close enough that touring stand-up and other live entertainment stay within easy reach, and comedian Maisie Adam was born in the village.
